Women's wool overcoats

These are our women's wool coats: a proper winter coat in a 70% wool, 25% polyester, 5% cashmere blend, fully lined and cut to a woman's shape. They are £140 to £160 in UK sizes 10 to 18, with free tracked UK delivery and 30 day returns.

• Covert Overcoat, £140. Knee length at about 44 inches, black velvet collar, concealed buttons and a red satin lining. Also available with a black lining.
• Long Belted Overcoat, £140. About 44 inches with a 3 button front and a belt, so you can wear it loose or pulled in at the waist.
• Double Breasted Overcoat, £160. Our longest at about 49 inches, with wide lapels, a half back belt and a relaxed, flowing cut.

Why wool?

Wool keeps you warm even when it is damp, it breathes so you do not overheat on the bus or the tube, and a good wool coat holds its shape for years. The polyester in our blend makes it harder wearing, and the cashmere makes it softer. For a coat you wear most days from November to March, it is the right cloth. Getting the fit right

Questions we get asked

Are these coats 100% wool?

No. They are 70% wool, 25% polyester and 5% cashmere. That gives you the warmth of wool with a cloth that wears well and keeps its shape.

Which coat is best for the office?

The Covert. It is knee length with a velvet collar and a clean front, so it looks smart over tailoring, dresses and skirts.

Can I return a coat if it does not fit?

Yes. You have 30 days to return it unworn with the tags on.
